Seven diverse students standing in a line outdoors on a sunny day in front of a large, prominent red block letter "M" outlined in white and black. Behind them stands a multi-story brick university building and green trees. The students, wearing casual clothes and lanyard badges, smile as they pose in front of a low stone wall featuring the university name.

Eight Hamilton High Seniors, who are in the education post secondary pathway program, recently visited Miami University's Oxford Campus as part of their capstone experience.

Sponsored by Wilks House and their partner, Miami University, students were able to tour McGuffey Hall, hear from department leaders, and participate in college classes.

It was a great experience for all involved.  They not only learned about Miami and the EHS department; they also made some great connections with Miami faculty and networked with other local high school education students.

A huge thank you to Miami University for sponsoring the trip.
